My son was placed in the residential Spartan Unit at Cedar Ridge. We were in crisis. His therapist kept me informed, but most importantly her actions, treatment plan and therapy with my son has shown me all I need to know. We had been fighting for mental wellness for over six years and nothing changed until Cedar Ridge. I will never forget the phone call I received from him after two weeks. He was changing. I could hear it and I prayed It would continue. He continued to become increasingly well-mannered, thoughtful and started to problem solve on his own. He used his coping skills that he learned and has continued to thrive. I can’t begin to explain how Cedar Ridge has enriched not only my son’s life but mine as well. Cedar Ridge provided the tools and skills that continue to build his self-esteem and realization that he is in charge of himself and his future. They empowered him!

Services
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient psychiatric and residential treatment services for children. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly-specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients.
The treatment team also works to ensure patients have a comprehensive aftercare plan in place upon their discharge.
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides short-term, inpatient psychiatric services as well as residential treatment for adolescents, ages 12–17. Acute inpatient services are designed to stabilize teens experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Residential treatment utilizes a multidisciplinary treatment team, led by a doctor, to address behavioral health challenges in a structured environment. During residential treatment, Adolescents will be enrolled in the Mid-Del School District. They attend school every day during the regular school year.
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany is located in Bethany, Oklahoma to provide quality mental health treatment for adults. We offer an adult inpatient program that specializes in depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and other mood disorders. The adult inpatient mental health treatment is for individuals over the age of 18 with severe mental illness that is impacting their ability to function.
Additionally, we offer a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) to individuals who need additional support following an inpatient stay or as a step up from outpatient therapy.
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany provides mental health services to older adults, ages 55 and over, facing life changes such as decreased physical and mental capabilities. We can help address the needs of older adults who may be suffering from depression, anxiety or other serious mental health concerns. Our caring environment encourages patient engagement in treatment as part of the therapeutic process.
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to older adults who need additional support following an inpatient stay or as a step up from outpatient therapy. Additionally we offer The Next Step, a PHP and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that focuses on helping our older adult patients work toward and maintain their mental wellness.
