Cedar Ridge offers the children of service members from ages 5 to 17 behavioral and mental health care from a supportive team that understands the unique challenges they face.

We treat those who struggle with a variety of issues, including:
• Suicidal Ideation
• Self-harm
• Depression
• PTSD
• Bipolar disorder
• Anxiety

Specialty Programs to Meet Your Love One’s Needs

Facilities often say that they have programs designed to meet your loved one’s needs, but what exactly does that mean? What makes them specific to each child’s needs?

At Cedar Ridge, we offer programs designed for specific groups of children and adolescents, including:

  • A dedicated children’s program for those aged 5 to 12
  • An adolescent female unit for those aged 12 to 17
  • An adolescent male unit for those aged 12-17
  • LGBTQ+ affirming adolescent program for patients aged 5-17 that is non-gendered (co-ed)
    • We respect your loved one’s chosen pronouns and gender identity
    • Hormone therapy continued (not started) for Trans patients
  • Our on-site acute services for ages 5 to 17 allows us to work with those with suicidal ideation and self-harm issues

Our therapeutic approaches include:

  • Trauma informed care
  • Therapists trained in DBT, Play Therapy and TBRI
  • Recreational therapy, music therapy and Yoga therapy
  • Daily psycho educational groups
