Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides short-term, inpatient psychiatric and longer-term residential services for children and adolescents. Cedar Ridge can help those individuals that represent a danger to themselves, a danger to others, or are in imminent danger of becoming a threat to the safety of themselves or others.
Inpatient treatment provides a structured and supportive treatment environment, which promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. A multidisciplinary treatment team guides treatment, makes recommendations for interventions during treatment and appropriate after care treatment upon discharge. Children and adolescents are treated at our main location; adults and older adults are treated at our Bethany location.
Longer-term residential treatment at Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital is designed to address the specific needs of children and adolescents struggling with emotional and behavioral issues. We treat individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, as well as general psychiatric disorders including bipolar, mood or oppositional defiance.
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany offers outpatient treatment to adults and older adults. We offer day treatment, or a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) to individuals who need additional support following an inpatient stay or as a step up from outpatient therapy. Additionally we offer The Next Step, a PHP and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that focuses on helping our patients work toward and maintain their mental wellness.
