Admission to Oklahoma City

Treatment at Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital may be suitable for children and adolescents ages 5–17 at our Oklahoma City location who are threatening to harm themselves or others, have done so within the past 72 hours or are currently in outpatient counseling/treatment for at least six months with no improved results.

  • Males and females, 5–17 years of age upon admission
  • IQ for each case individually reviewed
  • Primary psychiatric diagnosis
  • Outbursts are happening on more than one occasion
  • Most recent occurrence happened within the last 72 hours
  • Currently in outpatient counseling for at least six months with no improved results

Please note: This list is not inclusive of all issues a family may be facing. If you feel that your loved one meets any of the above criteria, please call for a no cost assessment.

Admission to Bethany

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany provides psychiatric care to adults, ages 18+ and seniors.
At the time of admission, expect a smiling face and a personal greeting with eye contact.

Admissions Process

Potential patients will be wanded for the safety of self and others. They will receive a thorough assessment to determine if they meet the criteria for admission or not.

Items to bring at the time of admission

  • Identification and insurance card
  • If applicable, bring power of attorney, guardianship and Advance Directive documents
  • All medications
  • No more than 3 days worth of clothing (pants, shirts and personal garments)
  • No drawstrings, shoe strings, belts, or suspenders
  • No need to bring personal toiletries, they will be provided for the patient

Insurance Accepted

We accept Anheuser-Busch EAP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Community Care, Health Choice, MHNet, TRICARE® South, Magellan, Cigna, Value Options, Medicare, OSMA Health and Oklahoma Medicaid, Preferred Community Choice.

For insurances not listed above, please call and ask for our business office 405-605-6111. In most cases our business office can work with your individual insurance plan.
